Palace Court is where I'm going to be living for the next eight weeks

Looks AWESOME, right? After I received that, it finally started feeling official. I finally realized that I'm going to spend eight weeks in LONDON. A place I've wanted to go to ever since I started reading the Harry Potter books in fifth grade (and watching BBC obsessively) - yes, I will admit those are the two things that sparked one of my biggest goals I've had for myself :)

People keep asking me what I'm most excited for and I always feel kind of lame because... simply put, I'm most excited to LIVE there. I want to have a favorite restaurant, favorite place to go read a book, favorite pub, etc. I want to make British friends (I want to make American friends in the program too) but I really want to have friends... in London. I want to feel a part of the city... really live there.

I'm also reallllllly excited about my internship at Prudence Cuming

I get to work in a photography studio! When I took that as my minor I did it more because it's something I enjoy, I was going to be taking the classes anyway, might as well get some credit... I didn't expect to get any sort of JOB with it... and now I have one (sort of) in London! Sweet.

Well, I suppose I should stop procrastinating and work on packing some more... wish me luck. I'll need it.
